Today my mom took my three kids and my nephew to the zoo. They spent hours exploring the different animal exhibits. They dragged their grandma from one end of the zoo to the other. To top it off, the temperature reached 90 degrees by the end of their day.
When they arrived home they were talking a mile a minute telling me what animal was their favorite. My oldest liked the baby chimpanzee. My middle one liked the poison dart frog in the amphibian house. My daughter liked the flamingos the best. It was a day with grandma. I still remember sleepovers at my grandma’s house like it was yesterday. They were memorable times that I cherish. My kids have been to the zoo dozens of times but today was a little bit special. It was a day spent with grandma. A great day!
